What makes Shri Charles Flutes different?

We craft ultra-grade bamboo flutes with careful tuning and finishing, trusted by professional flutists since 1998. Every instrument is made for tone, response, and lasting playability.

Do you make Hindustani and Carnatic flutes?

Yes. We offer Hindustani bansuris (top, middle, and bass), Carnatic flutes, Global Winds styles (Chinese, Arabic, penny whistle), compulsory flute kits / full sets, and protective cases & bags.

Are your flutes tuned to 440 Hz?

Yes — our standard concert flutes are precision-tuned for accurate pitch (including 440 Hz options). We also offer select 432 Hz meditation bansuris.

Right-hand vs left-hand — which should I choose?

Most players use right-hand (R.H.) fingering. Choose left-hand only if you specifically play L.H. style. If unsure, contact us before ordering.

Orders & shipping

How long will my order take?

Processing usually takes 1–3 business days. Domestic delivery is typically 5–7 business days after dispatch. You will receive tracking by email.

Do you offer free shipping?

Can I exchange a flute after delivery?

We do not accept exchanges after delivery. Please confirm key, size, and handedness carefully. Damaged parcels should be reported within 48 hours with photos.

Care & support

How should I care for my bamboo flute?

Keep the flute dry after playing, avoid extreme heat or moisture, and store it in a case or bag. Oil lightly as recommended for bamboo instruments.
